There are many reasons why some couples choose to cohabit, such as their personal circumstances or various other factors. Some might not yet have the right conditions for marriage, while others might need more time to be sure about their partner by living together first. These are common reasons for cohabitation among couples who are planning to get married or see marriage in their future.
Recently, some couples have chosen to cohabit rather than marry because they find the institution of marriage rigid and burdensome. They prefer a more flexible lifestyle. This is a trend among those who choose to cohabit for different reasons than those who see marriage in their future.
